A good win for Spain’s under 21 side in their fourth group game, a 5-0 victory over Georgia taking them second behind Croatia, who they visit next week. Gerard Deulofeu captained the team and starred with three goals, the first after connecting with Marco Asensio’s set-piece free kick on the quarter hour mark. The Everton forward made it two with a dipping free kick a few minutes later, and although Kepa had to save from Lobzhanidze and Pantsulaia before the break, Williams got on the end of Asensio’s cross to add a third some ten minutes after the restart. Substitute Dani Ceballos scored the fourth midway through the second half after Kurdadze could only push out a shot from Williams, and after Oliver Torres hit the bar, Deulofeu cut in from the wing to complete his hat-trick near the end.
