Spain’s under 21 side failed to qualify for this summer’s European finals after winning the two previous editions, but they have already put that behind them, with the new generation playing two friendly games over the next few days. First up were Norway, and Albert Celades blooded six new players in a comfortable 2-0 victory. Both goals came early on, Deulofeu crossing in for Munir to head the first, and then cutting past a couple of defenders to score the second just two minutes later. Debutants Dani Ceballos, Iñaki Williams and Marco Asensio all went close after coming on in the second half, and Athletic Bilbao keeper Kepa (on loan at Ponferradina) had little to do all night.
