Spanish sides Sevilla and Valencia (both former champions) made it through to the semi-finals of the competition after overturning first leg defeats in the quarter finals. The luck of the draw though paired them together in the semi-final, which at least means that one La Liga team will be in the final at the Juventus stadium in Turin on 14th May. Juventus themselves are still in the competition, playing against last year's beaten finalists Benfica in the other semi-final. (11.04.14)
Sevilla will meet Benfica in this year's final after knocking out Valencia on the away goal rule. (01.05.14)
