Another big win for Sevilla in the Europa League, a 4-1 scoreline against Slask Wroclaw virtually ensuring their place in the next round. However it was a flattering result, the Polish side taking the lead early on through Paixao, and causing a lot of problems for the excellent Beto before the Andalusians wrapped things up. Rakitic did make it all square with a stroke of fortune, his wide free kick bouncing past everyone in to the net, but it was not until Dudu was sent off for a foul on Jairo some ten minutes in to the second half that Sevilla got the edge. Marin was the man who made the difference, the on loan Chelsea midfielder cutting through to beat Gikiewicz, and after Gameiro headed a third, it was Marin again who finished things off with another individualist goal.
