Spain's under 21 side are virtually sure of a place in the play-off stage after a 0-2 victory against Albania on Monday night. Julen Lopetegui's team had won all five of their previous games, and with their opponents languishing at the bottom of their group they were strong favourites to win. However after beating Hungary away four days ago the locals were in a fighting mood, and Pachecho had to be on his toes to keep out Shala early on. Kotobelli also fired a shot wide shortly before the break, but after the restart Muniain had a goal disallowed when the officials ruled that the ball had gone out of play in the build up. A few minutes later though the team captain put his side ahead following a good run by Sergi Roberto, and with the game in the dying minutes Deulofeu cut through the defence to beat keeper Teqja for a second time.
