Post window transfers

The winter transfer window closed on 31st January, but moves are still allowed in the case of players who are unemployed, or to replace a player with a long term injury. Changes of managers are also allowed to take place at any time during the season. We set out below the movements from the window closure up to the start of the new transfer window, which opens at the end of the season (failed deals in red). (31.05.14)

09/03/14 Cosmin Contra (RUM) Petrolul (RUM) Getafe MG Returns to club where he had some of his best moments to replace Luis García, who was sacked.
09/03/14 Julio César (BZL) No club Getafe GK Ex Benfica & Granada keeper has been signed on short term contract to cover for injured Moyà.
09/03/14 Pablo Machin No club Girona MG Ex Numancia coach takes over from Javi López, who was fired after only for 11 games in charge.
05/03/14 Pedro Morales (CHL) Málaga Vancouver Whitecaps (CAN) MF Has hardly played after Pellegrini left, and has agreed move to MLS side. Reported fee of around €300k.
