Defending champions Spain made it five wins out of five after thrashing Bosnia Herzegovina 1-6 on Thursday evening. The East European side had given Lopetegui's team a good fight in their match a month ago, and although Muniain hit the post early on, Prcic picked up a Zakaric through ball to fire a shot past Pacheco soon afterwards. Later in the first half though Barisic deflected the ball in to his own net after Deulofeu crossed in from the right wing, and with half time approaching Spain scored two more, Oliver Torres poking a shot past Jajalo after a defender failed to clear Sergi Roberto's pass, and Morata converting a penalty after Deulofeu was sandwiched in the area. After the restart Deulofeu hit the post and Darder fired a shot just wide, and some slack defending allowed Muniain and Torres to add two more in a four minute period midway through the second half. Soon afterwards Deulofeu made it six with a second penalty, and the on-loan Everton winger came close to another when he rounded the keeper only for his shot to be cleared off the line by a defender. A comfortable victory though, and a win in Albania in four days time will almost certainly seal them a place in the play-offs. (14.11.13)
