Levante virtually ensured their place in the last sixteen of the competition after a 3-0 victory over Michel's Olympiacos on Thursday evening. Pedro Ríos opened the scoring for the Spaniards in the tenth minute after Barkero put him through, and twenty minutes later things swung further their way when Abdoun was given a second booking after giving away a dubious penalty on Ríos. Martins missed his spot kick, but ten minutes later Levante were awarded another questionable penalty when Holebas brought down Pedro López on the edge of (or outside of?) the area, and this time Barkero didn't fail. Soon after the restart Martins made up for his mistake with his side's third after another assist from Barkero, and after that the woodwork kept out efforts from Manolas and Dejebbour. Michel must be wondering what he had done to deserve so much bad luck!
