A confidence boosting win for Spain's youngsters in the first of two warm up games prior to this summer's European finals, Julen Lopetegui's side running out 5-2 winners against Norway in the Salto de Caballo stadium in Toledo.

Slack defending by Iñigo Martínez allowed Pedersen through with only seconds on the clock, and although Joel pushed his shot on to the post, Nielsen turned the ball in to the net on the rebound.

Tello made up for it though with two goals in the next quarter of an hour, the first with a reverse angle shot after picking up a long pass from Muniain, and the second after Koke won the ball off Tollas on the edge of the area.

Rodrigo got on the end of Muniain's cross to make it three before the break, and after the restart second half substitute Canales scored a fourth after Tello crossed in from the right wing.

The unfortunate Tollas headed a centre from Sarabia back in to his own net with a quarter left on the clock, and the delightfully named Castrati scored a late consolation for the Scandinavians with three minutes to go.

A good win against a team who knocked France out of the play-offs to qualify for the finals, and next up the youngsters face off against Russia, one of the sides in their qualifying group in Israel.
