Spain's under 20 side won their first warm-up game in preparation for the youth World Cup, although they had to come from behind before finally beating Uzbekistan 3-2. Yuldashov headed the visitors in to the lead following a corner shortly before the break, and team coach Albert Celades made nine changes at half time to give a run out to the rest of his squad. Suso made it all square with a shot from outside of the area on the hour mark, and Rubén García headed a second for the locals a few minutes later. Rahmanov levelled the scores once again, but Sergeev was sent off with a quarter of an hour to go, and Paco Alcácer got the winner with an injury time penalty after Rubén was fouled in the area.
