Spain's under 19 side finished top of their Elite round group after beating Poland and Greece and drawing with Croatia, and once again they have qualified for the finals, which this year take place in Lithuania in July. (10.06.13)

Spain 1 - Croatia 1

Spain have qualified for this summer's European finals in Lithuania after getting the point they needed in a 1-1 draw against Croatia. The East Europeans came in to the game with a chance of overtaking Luis de la Fuente's side though, and a strike by Brlek early in the second half meant that Spain had to score. However Villarreal's Moi Gómez equalized with ten minutes to go to ensure top spot in the group once again. (10.06.13)

Spain 2 - Greece 0

Spain are close to qualifying for this summer's finals after a second win in a row in their Elite round group. Luis de la Fuente's side dominated for much of the match, but it was not until the second minute of injury time that Sporting's Alejando Serrano finally beat Greek keeper Barkas following an assist by Fede Vico. Just a minute later though substitute Traoré set up Vico to add a second himself, and a draw now in the last match against Croatia will see the youngsters reserve their rickets for Lithuania. Poland 0 - Spain 1

Luis de la Fuente began his spell as Spain's under 19 coach with a 0-1 victory over hosts Poland in the opening game of this season's Elite round. Vadillo hit the post before Córdoba's Fede Vico opened the scoring with a long shot midway through the first half. But Celta's young keeper Rubén Blanco was stretchered off with concussion soon after the restart after colliding with a Polish forward, and after Vadillo was sent off for a second bookable offence with a quarter of the game still to go, Spain had to fall back to defend their lead. With Greece and Croatia drawing in the other group match though the youngsters are already top of their mini-league. (05.06.13)
