Sevilla have some work to do in the second leg of their Europa League qualifier after losing 2-1 to Hannover. This was a difficult draw for the Andalusians, especially as the German side had already started their league season. And when Spahic only headed a long clearance by the keeper to Abdelleaue, allowing him to set up Schlaudraff for the opener in the sixth minute, things got even more complicated. Palop did well to keep out Rausch minutes later, but with half an hour on the clock Negredo hit the post with a long shot, and seven minutes after that Coke and Negredo combined for Kanouté to equalise. Hannover restored the lead on the stroke of half time however, Schlaudraff again beating Palop after picking up a lobbed pass from Schmiedebach, and the striker came close to netting his hat-trick after the restart. Kanouté and Manu del Moral could have equalised again though, and in the end the Andalusians were relatively happy with the result.
