Valladolid are looking good for the third promotion spot after beating Alcorcón 0-1 in the first leg of the play-off final. The Madrid based side had not been beaten in their Santo Domingo stadium since last November, but they went behind with just under half an hour on the clock when Javi Guerra met Nauzet's cross with his shoulder to steer the ball in off the near post. After the restart the locals came out looking for the equaliser, Davi Hernández having to save a couple of times from Mora and Saúl, and Marc Valiente clearing a header from Agus off the line following a corner. But Djukic's side held on for the win, and they must now be favourites for next Saturday's second leg. (13.06.12)
