Del Bosque named his squad for the Euro 2012 finals today, with no really unexpected surprises. Seven Barcelona players and two from Athletic Bilbao return after playing out the Spanish cup final, and Juanfran (who made his debut against Serbia yesterday) keeps his place at right back due to an injury to Iraola. David Villa announced that he has still not recovered from the injury he picked up last winter, and Puyol is also out after undergoing a knee operation recently. There were recalls therefore for Raúl Albiol and Fernando Torres, and Negredo is the striker chosen to replace Villa rather than Soldado or Adrián. (27.05.12)
