A disappointing result for Spain in this warm-up game in preparation for this summers European finals, Luis Milla's side being held to a 1-1 draw by Belarus. The youngsters were unable to find a way through a well organised defence in the first half, and the East Europeans could have taken the lead when Skavysh shot wide shortly before the break. Three minutes after the restart De Gea did well to block another shot from Veretilo, but midway through the second half a foul on Diego Capel allowed Dani Parejo to open the scoring from the resulting free kick. Parejo headed another chance just wide soon afterwards, but Belarus equalised a few minutes later, Rekish turning the ball in to the net after an effort from Skavysh came back off the post.
