Spain thrashed Northern Ireland 5-1 in their second group game, and a draw against England in their last match next Thursday will see them though to this summer's finals. Gerard Deulofeu started things off with an individualist goal, and the Barcelona winger set up Denis for a second ten minutes later. Iker Hernández latched on to a Garrido through ball to make it three before the half time whistle, but Morgan got one back with a well struck free kick after the restart. The Irish were left with ten men though after McLaughlin was sent off for a hard tackle on Vico, and Iker and Pol Calvet added two more later on for the final result. Next up then England, the team who beat them in last season's European final.
