Another week has gone by, and Málaga are still the only club who are spending any money in the transfer market. This week the new owners splashed out another 17 million of their petro-dollars (euros?) to sign up Toulalan, Joaquín and Sergio Sánchez, who join Van Nistelrooy, Mathijsen, Monreal and company in the new project. Barcelona though are starting to make room for new players, with Bojan looking to relaunch his career at the bright young age of 20 with a move to Luis Enrique's Roma, and others may follow soon. Udinese's Alexis Sánchez is the target, but if they are outbid by (petro) Manchester City then they are thinking once again of Rossi and Mata as alternatives. In the meantime a reported 35 million bid for Cesc Fábregas has been met with the reply "come back when you have a serious offer". With Thiago starting to shine in the under 21 European championships, do they really need him? Real Madrid themselves are looking to offload a few players, including Kaká, for whom the (petro) Paris Saint Germain are current favourites to pay the asking price for him. Kaká's replacement (both in the Brazilian national team and at the Bernabeu stadium) may well be the 19 year old Santos forward Neymar, who appears to have the right stuff to join Mourinho, Cristiano Ronaldo and company after declaring that he was probably a better player than Messi!
