Barcelona and Real Madrid have been kept apart in the draw for the remaining rounds of the cup, which means the two will meet in the final if they go all the way. The draw for the last 16 saw second division sides Betis and Córdoba matched with Getafe and Deportivo respectively, while Barcelona will meet Athletic Bilbao and Real Madrid play Levante. If Real Madrid get through that they will meet the winner of the tie between Atlético Madrid and Espanyol, which could mean a Madrid city derby in the quarter finals.
The draw for the first leg of the fifth round is set out below. Pairings for the quarter-finals and semi-finals follow the same order (i.e. winner of Valencia v Villarreal plays winner of Sevilla v Málaga, and so on). Fifth round matches to take place on 21st and 22nd December 2010, with the return legs on or around 5th January 2011. (18.11.10)
