The draw took place today for the third round of the Spanish cup, with the winners of the second round ties involved. The draw was carried out in two sections, the first pairing together the lower ranked sides and the second with only the second division A sides. Regional third division side Portugalete were given a bye to the fourth round. Matches will be played over one leg on or around 8th September, with the winners joining first division clubs in the fourth round. (02.09.10)
