Villarreal are well on the way to a place in the league stage after a 1-3 victory at NAC Breda. Heavy rain and an at times over-physical opponent caused them some problems early on, but with just under a quarter of an hour gone Rossi picked up a clever flick from Nilmar and drilled a shot past Rouwelaar to open the scoring.
Two minutes later the Dutch side were level after Loran beat Diego López after the keeper could only push out an earlier shot, but early in the second half a quickly taken free kick by Ibagaza restored the lead. And with the game already in injury time substitute Llorente got on the end of a long cross to make it three and wrap things up.
