Spain's latest under 21 side started the new European campaign with a 2-0 win over Poland. Getafe's Dani Parejo fired a free kick against the bar before Celta's Joselu opened the scoring in the seventh minute, hooking the ball in to the net after Gullón headed on Diego Capel's free kick. And Parejo himself headed the second from a Capel corner with just under an hour on the clock. Shortly afterwards Krychowiak was sent off for a crunching tackle, and the game was over.
