Spain made it three wins out of three after beating Malawi in their last group game. With his side already qualified for the last 16, Ginés Meléndez rested several of his key players. And after many frustrated efforts in the intense heat, Carmona finally opened the scoring on the half hour mark. Morata made it two after the restart, and Espinosa got a third before Morata got his second of the day. Milanzi scored a late consolation for the African side past debutant Julen Celaya, but with USA going through with Spain, they are out of the competition.
