A last minute goal from substitute Llorente gave Spain a narrow 3-2 win over Saudi Arabia in the first of their World Cup warm-up games in Austria. It was a slightly worrying performance though, a full strength side falling behind in the tenth minute when Osama headed a corner past Casillas. It was not until the half hour mark that Spain equalised, David Villa heading in a cross from his new Barcelona team-mate Iniesta. And although Sergio Ramos and Villa went close a couple of times before the break, a second goal only came well in to the second half when Xabi Alonso drove a loose ball back past Waleed with attentions distracted by a host of substitutes about to come on to the pitch. Del Bosque gave debuts to Pedro and Javi Martínez, but the Saudis levelled the scores when Al Sahlawi's shot took a deflection off the back of Al Numare to wrong-foot Casillas. And although Jesús Navas tested Waleed near the end, it looked as if a draw was on the cards until Llorente got on the end of Xabi Alonso's corner to head home the winner. (29.05.10)
