Valencia could only draw 1-1 with Slavia Prague though, Navarro heading the equaliser after Naumov had put the visitors ahead. Substitute David Villa was sent off as both teams ended with ten men. And Villarreal's bad luck continued with a 2-1 defeat at Lazio, Rocchi getting the winner in injury time after Eguren had managed to equalise an early strike from Zárate. (22.10.09)
