Rubén Castro got the first midway through the first half, and Piti and Aganzo added two more after the restart. Ulloa's last minute consolation couldn't prevent his side from dropping to the bottom of the table. Hércules are also in the top three after winning 0-1 against struggling Celta earlier in the evening. Abraham Paz headed the only goal from a corner early in the second half to leave the Galicians in the relegation zone. Coach Eusebio is going to have a difficult week.
Recreativo drop down the table after a 1-0 defeat at regional neighbours Cádiz. The visitors played half the game with ten men after Mora was sent off, and the home side took advantage to clock up their first victory of the season thanks to a strike from Ormazábal. Levante are now level on points with the Huelva based side after a 0-1 victory at Las Palmas. Both sides came in to the match unbeaten, but a second half goal from Rubén was enough to give the three points to the away team.
Real Unión recorded their first win since being promoted, beating Girona 0-2 to climb out of the relegation zone above their opponents. The Basque side are now level with Murcia, who could only draw 2-2 against Salamanca.
