That's it then, the transfer window is closed, and moves are now only allowed in exceptional cases (long term injuries, players unemployed etc) until the end of December. The last few days did see a lot of changes, but nothing of Earth shattering proportions (i.e. Frank Ribèry didn't move to Real Madrid!). Rumours are flying around though that the Bayern Munich midfielder has already agreed a move to the Bernabeu next summer, and could even come here in winter if his relationship with coach Van Gaal breaks down any further. Right now though the market is over, and there will be plenty of time to talk about those things later in the year. A jugar! (02.09.09)
