Spain made it three wins out of three after beating hosts South Africa 0-2 in their last group match. Five minutes in to the second half Del Bosque's side were awarded a penalty when Mokoena tripped Fábregas, but Khune guessed correctly and blocked David Villa's spot kick. With the crowd still celebrating the save though, Villa chested on Riera's cross and struck a first time volley wide of the keeper to open the scoring. And substitute Llorente added a second twenty minutes later after Fábregas played on Xavi's cross to give his team a record fifteenth win in a row, and to take them though to a semi-final meeting with Brazil, Italy or Egypt on Wednesday.
