Youth internationals

Spain's under 17 side beat USA in a friendly match which served as a warm up for next month's European qualifiers. Two more fixtures have been arranged next month against Romania.

Spain have also been invited together with the Republic of Ireland and Denmark to put forward an under 16 squad for the prestigious Santarem international tournament in Abrantes, Portugal. Matches will take place between 21 and 24 February. (18.02.09)
