Spain made it twenty-nine games without defeat after beating England 2-0 in a friendly international in Sevilla. David Villa opened the scoring shortly before half time after picking up a pass from Xabi Alonso, and Fernando Llorente made it two with a header from Xavi's free kick near the end. The visitors almost got one back in the last minute though, Marchena clearing off the line from Carlton Cole with Reina beaten. (11.02.09)
