Friendly matches

As usual there was a round of friendly matches involving regional sides during the winter break. Catalonia beat Colombia 2-1 with goals from Bojan and Verdú, and Nacho Novo scored twice for Galicia in a 3-2 victory over Iran. Extremadura and Murcia also put out sides, although Euskadi didn't play this year due to a dispute over which name they should play under. (31.12.08)
