Copa del Rey, third round draw

The draw took place today for the third round of the Spanish cup, involving the winners of the second round ties between second and third division sides. The draw was carried out in two sections, the first pairing together the lower ranked sides and the second with only the second division A sides. The most interesting fixture was between Celta and Real Sociedad, two teams with a long history in the competition. Matches will be played over one leg on or around 8th October. First division clubs enter in the next round. (19.09.07)
