Zaragoza have some work to do in their second leg after losing 1-0 to Aris Salonica. Víctor Fernández's side have still not won this season, and they went behind in the sixth minute when Papadopoulos headed home a wide free kick taken by Spanish youth international Toni Calvo. Oliveira hit the post and Sergio García missed a couple of other good chances before the break, but even when Víctor brought on Diego Milito and Gabi they were unable to break down a well ordered defence.
