Spain and Greece both
qualified for the semi-finals of the competition after drawing 0-0 in their
last group game. Juan Santiesteban's side had the better of the first half,
with Aarón, Nsue and Coto all going close. Ten minutes into the second
half Greece had a chance to take the lead when Sanjosé tripped
Papadopoulos, but Ramos guessed correctly and kept out Mitroglou's spot kick.
And after that both sides settled for a point, the heat also contributing to
the fact that the match slowed down to a walking pace. Spain play France in
their semi-final next Tuesday, with the Greeks taking on Germany.
