Spain are within a point of reaching the semi-finals after a 3-3 draw with joint group favourites France. The youngsters had to come from behind three times though, with Barcelona's Thiago equalising Tafer's early strike on the half hour mark. Grenier put France ahead for the second time with a well struck free kick just three minutes after the restart, but Puliod levelled the scores again two minutes later from Thiago's corner. Remy made it 2-3 from another corner, but Thiago drilled home a low free kick late on to save a point.
