Transfer rumours
The transfer window closed
last night without too many late surprises. There were some 32 new
registrations on the last day though from clubs in the top two divisions,
including a loan move for Zaragoza's Ewerthon (who was playing in Stuttgart) to
Espanyol as cover for the injured Tamudo.
Athletic Bilbao also signed
Cádiz keeper Armando to replace the injured Gorka, and elsewhere
Villarreal tied up Eguren and Deportivo registered Wilhelmsson, and Racing made
two last minute moves for Ismodes and Orteman.
Alavés were the last
club to enter the doors of the LFP offices before they closed at midnight,
loaning out Astudillo to Osasuna and signing Jairo and Cabrera from Deportivo
and Almería respectively.
No more moves will be
allowed until the window reopens at the end of the season, except in the cases
of managerial changes, players out of contract or serious injuries. Keep
checking our pages for news. (01.02.08) |
