Two Spanish sides are already sure of a place in the knock-out stage after victories on Wednesday night against Scandinavian clubs. Atlético Madrid won 0-2 in Copenhagen with a goal in each half from Simao and Agüero. And Villarreal beat Elfsborg 2-0 thanks to two goals from Tomasson, who missed out on a hat-trick after the keeper saved a late penalty. On Thursday Getafe beat Aalborg 1-2 to leave themselves just needing a point in their last game to go through. Pablo Hernández and Granero scored the goals, with Prica getting one back for the Danish side in injury time. (06.12.07)
