Spain moved to the top of their qualifying group, just ahead of Russia on goal difference, after beating Poland 3-0. Bojan and Jurado both hit the woodwork early on, but it was not until five minutes before the break that they went ahead when Glik deflected Mata's free kick past his own keeper. Bojan came close again a couple of times after the restart, but their were some nervous moments before the Barcelona striker and Sevilla's Diego Capel added two more in injury time. (16.11.07)
