Atlético Madrid confirmed their presence in a major European competition for the first time in seven years after beating Vojvodina 1-2. Three goals up from the first leg, Javier Aguirre put out a much changed side. And although they found themselves behind after Buac took advantage of a sleepy defence shortly before the break, Luis García got an important away goal just ten minutes after the restart.
