Spain's under 19 side followed in the footsteps of their under 17 counterparts, taking this year's European title after beating Greece in the final. The early chances fell to their opponents, and keeper Sergio Asenjo had some work to do before Real Madrid's Dani Parejo scored the only goal close to half time from a wide free kick. Spain have only let in one goal all tournament however, and their well ordered defence held fast after the break to give Juan Santiesteban's side their fourth victory in the six times that this event has taken place.
