Under 20 World Cup
Spain 2 - Zambia 1
Spain beat
Zambia 2-1 in their second game to top their group and virtually ensure
a place in the last sixteen. It was a hard fought win though, despite the fact
that Gines Meléndez's side were two up at the break, Mario Suárez
opening the scoring from the penalty spot on the half hour mark and Mata
turning in Capel's cross for a second close to half time. Njobvu pulled one
back though with a quarter of an hour to go, and there were some nervous
moments before the final whistle. (04.07.07) |
