Barcelona are through to the semi-finals of the Champions League after a 1-0 victory over Schalke 04. It was not a convincing win though, and the one goal lead from the first leg looked in danger as the German side dominated the first half. However with a couple of minutes to go to the break a dangerous cross from Bojan was only cleared as far as Touré Yaya, who drove the ball back into the net. That was enough to take Barça through to a semi-final meeting with Manchester United, who knocked out Roma in the day's other quarter final. Frank Rijkaard breathed a sigh of relief.
