Barcelona are close to a place in the semi-finals after beating Schalke 0-1 in Gelsenkirchen on Tuesday night. Bojan got the only goal of the game in the eleventh minute, netting from close up after Henry played the ball across goal to become the second youngest player to score in the competition. And after that the under pressure Rijkaard decided to preserve the lead, ending the match with six defenders on the field of play. The return match is next Wednesday in the Nou Camp, and if Barça do go through they are likely to face Manchester United after the English club beat Roma 0-2 in their first leg tie.
