Defending champions Sevilla
came away from their game with Slovan Liberec with a point, although it was a
disappointing performance by the Andalusians after their good start to the
season. Juande Ramos gave a run out to wingers Fernando Sales and Duda, but
neither created problems for the defence and the Spaniards hardly troubled
Marek Cech in the local goal all night.
They were lucky to go in at
the break level though after Bilek hit the crossbar and Dragutinovic did enough
to keep Pospech from finding the target soon afterwards. Ramos rang the
changes, bringing on Luis Fabiano and then Poulsen, but they still didn't
improve and Palop had to keep out Papousek later in the second half to ensure
the draw. |
