Spain beat the Czech Republic 3-1 in this warm up match for next summer's World
Cup in Canada. All the goals came after the break, Real Madrid Castilla's Mata
opening the scoring after connecting with Jeffren's cross two minutes after the
restart. The visitors equalised with a Fenin penalty after the striker was
brought down in the area, but Mazuch was sent off for a second bookable offence
soon afterwards. And Gines Meléndez's side took advantage to score two
more, the first from César after good work by Jonathan and Mata, and the
second from Diego Capel with a shot into the top corner of the net.
