Spain's latest crop of
youngsters drew 3-3 in a friendly international with Turkey, the inaugural
match of the Nuevo Ganzábal stadium in Langreo. The visitors took the
lead three times, Kose starting things off from the penalty spot after Xavi
fouled Yicmaz. Mata won himself a penalty to level the scores, but Yicmaz beat
Ramos to put his side ahead once again later in the first half. Bueno combined
with his Real Madrid Castilla team mate Mata to equalise again on the stroke of
half time, but Turkey went ahead for a third time when Yicmaz set up Kiraz just
two minutes after the restart. Substitute Aarón saved Spain's blushes
though with a low shot a quarter of an hour from the end.
