Second division B play-offs, semi-finals second
leg
The play-off finals are now
all confirmed after Sunday's games. In group A, Sevilla Atlético
are through after overturning a 1-0 first leg defeat, beating Universidad
Las Palmas 4-0. They will play Burgos, who won through on a penalty
shoot out after drawing 0-0 with Alcoyano. Córdoba
qualified for the group B final after coming from two down to draw 2-2 at
Pontevedra, and their opponents will be Huesca after the
Aragón based club beat Palencia 2-1.
A penalty shoot out as well
at Linares, where the locals lost 3-4 on spot kicks to Racing Ferrol
after a 2-0 win had cancelled out the first leg result. Their group C final
will be against Alicante, who beat Real Unión 2-0 with a
goal from Eloi in extra time. Finally Rayo Vallecano will be the rivals
of Eibar in the group D final after a nail biting 2-2 draw with
Portuense. Pepe Mel's side only made sure of going through with an
injury time strike from Diego Torres though after the Andalusians had got
within a goal of turning around the tie. (10.06.07)
Eibar beat
L'Hospitalet 2-0 in the second leg of their semi-final and will play the
winners of the game between Rayo Vallecano and Portuense in the group D final.
