A last minute goal from Chelsea's Essien dumped Spain's last representative out of the Champions League. Valencia came in to the return match with the advantage after drawing 1-1 away from home, and Morientes put them ahead from Joaquín's cross before half time. But Shevchenko levelled the scores soon after the restart, and with extra time on the cards Essien struck to take the English club through. (10.04.07)
