UEFA Cup, third round, second leg
Spain will have four sides
in the last 16 of the competition after all won their respective games tonight.
Defending champions Sevilla already had a two goal lead against
Steaua Bucharest from the first leg, and a Kerzhakov goal on the stroke
of half time gave them a 1-0 win on the night. Espanyol also had a goal
start against Livorno, and strikes from Lacruz and Corominas gave them a
2-0 victory in Montjuic. Celta beat Spartak Moscow 2-1 to go
through, Nené and Jonathan Aspas getting their goals before Titov pulled
one back late on. And Osasuna scraped through 1-0 against Girondins
Bordeaux, but only thanks to a last gasp winner from Nekounam in the final
minute of extra time. (22.02.07) |
