Transfer rumours

Just a few days to go now until the transfer window closes, and at last we are starting to see some activity in the market place. The big move this winter could be that of Ronaldo to AC Milan, although terms have still to be agreed. Villarreal have made another good signing though, adding Tomasson to that of Matías Fernández, leaving the door open for the unsettled Riquelme to move on (although so far nothing concrete has been mooted). Salva will be going to Levante after much speculation about his future, and Atlético Madrid have tied up experienced defender Eller. Those leaving La Liga, for the time being at least, include Sevilla's young striker Kepa, who joins West Ham United on loan. (26.01.07)
