Friendly matches

Several friendly matches took place once again during the two week international break. Regional sides Catalonia and Euskadi played each other in the Nou Camp, sharing the honours in a 2-2 draw. Villarreal lost their annual Ceramica trophy 1-2 to Monaco, and Betis, Celta, Deportivo, Espanyol, Getafe and Osasuna were also in action. (08.10.06)
